If your wedding budget allows, we would highly recommend that you book the help of a professional to make you look your beautiful best.  Make-up artists are highly skilled in making a bride look natural, yet they know how to provide the coverage she needs to keep her looking flawless all day.

Also, a great make-up artist often uses products that haven't made it onto the high street, notably foundations that keep your skin glowing and shine-free so that you can relax and enjoy your ceremony and the celebrations afterwards.

Make-up is a very personal thing. As with a hair stylist, don't forget to accept a trial a couple of weeks beforehand.  This session will help you both establish what you like (and dislike) and give the make-up artist a clear view of what may need to be tweaked on the day – stronger eye shadow, a different colour blusher and so on.

You may be lucky enough to find someone who offers both hair and make-up.  One less thing to think about.
