It has been announced that Hibiscus & Hodge Flowers have been shortlisted in the second annual Whitewed Directory Awards! The talented florist based in Wiltshire is shortlisted for the Start Up Business of the Year 2018 Award...

The Whitewed Directory Awards were launched in June 2017 to recognise the South West’s best wedding venues and suppliers. There are three judged award categories, Business Person of the Year 2018, Most Inspiring Business Person of the Year 2018 and Start-up Business of the Year 2018.

The judges were impressed with Hibiscus and Hodge attention to environmental factors and the local sourcing of flowers and foliage.

The judging panel comprised of three highly respected industry professionals: Sara Tye, award winning, top 500 international PR, business and organisational development expert and serial entrepreneur, Ian Larrard, Director of Business West in Swindon and Wiltshire, and Emma Richards, Sales Director of DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon.The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony taking place on 7th February 2019 at the Doubletree by Hilton Swindon.

Hibiscus & Hodge Flowers combine bespoke statement floral design with a highly personalised service. From offering a free consultation chatting through ideas, through to installation and delivery, their work is bold, creative and imaginative.

They like nothing more than creating beautiful show stoppers, while breaking all the rules! If you want 12 types of flowers in your bouquet that are all different shapes, colours and sizes, why not?!

Environmentally conscious too, they compost green waste and use rainwater to keep flowers fresh. In summer months they also try to work with local British growers where possible and forage locally.
