Celebrants & Toastmasters

Now here’s two wedding professionals that are invaluable to a truly personal and organised wedding!

Firstly, a wedding ceremony performed by a Celebrant / Humanist Minister etc. is the perfect way to personalise your special day, even at a venue or location that's not licensed for weddings. If you'd like to get married in your back garden, in a beautiful sunny meadow or, practicalities permitting, almost anywhere, it's ideal. Just remember, you will need organise a ‘Statutory Ceremony’ at your local Register Office at a convenient time.

And next, the Toastmaster! Ever been at a wedding that was a bit disorganised? Well, us British actually like being gently told where to be at each stage of an event's proceedings; it makes us feel secure. Your wedding day is no exception and a professionally trained Toastmaster / Master of Ceremony could be just what you need.

Resplendent in their red tail coat and with a distinctive voice that commands attention, your Toastmaster or Master of Ceremony will assist the photographer to organise group shots (always tricky) and ensure your day runs to plan with announcements at the official “stages” of the day – and will also bring their character and enthusiasm to ensure your day is remembered!
