This Real Wedding has been shared by Gloucestershire based florist and event stylist, Fi of Corky and Prince.
Read on to hear more of the story behind this beautiful family centred summers wedding day in the stunning Cotswold stone barn, Jenner's Barn.
Cat and Sean's day was all about family with the wedding ceremony taking place in the tiny chapel in Whelford, just a short walk from Cat's parents home. Cat wore a slender white fit and flare dress with bateau neckline and diamanté detailed waistband from Mikaella Bridal. Cat's five bridesmaids wore grey chiffon dresses from Oasis and her daughter Grace was the flower-girl. Sean's suit came from Ted Baker. Alice Taper did the hair and make-up for the bridal party with on-trend boho plaits for a soft half-up, half down look.
The reception was held in Jenner's Barn - a tucked away Cotswold stone barn surrounded by fields and woods. With fantastic sunshine all day, Cat and Sean's guests enjoyed the warm weather and made the best of the garden games and fire pit in the evening. Cotswold Cooks served up a tasty wedding feast which was served in the marquee adjoining the barn.
Corky and Prince provided the flowers and styling - it was a dream brief for a florist as Cat wanted loads of blush and white peonies and we were very happy to help. After the wedding Cat said "Everyone absolutely loved the flowers - they were incredible, absolutely amazing!!! Thank you so much."
The day was captured perfectly by Siobhan Beales Photography.
For the church, Cat wanted a statement piece over the doorway as there was very little room inside for flowers in the chapel. We created this arch of blush and white roses, peonies, hydrangeas, phlox, larkspur and lots of foliage - it was wildly romantic and the perfect backdrop for photos including the essential confetti moment.
Cat's bridal bouquet was a soft large hand-tied arrangement of white and blush pink peonies that were so fragrant. I added astilbe, stocks and lots of eucalyptus to bring movement, texture and form to this design. Long white ribbon tails finished the stems of the bouquet. The bridesmaids bouquets matched Cat's whilst Grace the flower girl wore a baby's breath floral crown (for at least some of the ceremony!) and carried a basket of rose petal confetti decorated with fresh rose buds and ribbons.
Sean, the best man and Dads had pale pink rose buttonholes with fluffy 'bunny's ears' grasses grown in my own flower-cutting garden. The stem were finished with rustic twine.
For Jenner's Barn, we created 3 giant hanging rings from the roof of the Barn. Two were made from loads of eucalyptus and greenery and the centre one with pale pink and white flowers. For the wedding top table, we made a 16ft garland of greenery and added peonies, roses and stocks in water tubes so they stayed fresh throughout the day. For the round guest tables, Cat chose a rustic theme with white ceramic jugs on a wood slice, filled with peonies, roses, eustoma and stocks. The finish touches outside were lots of bunting (homemade of course by me) and fairy light garlands across the wooden gazebo to light the garden in the evening.
