This stunning Real Wedding has been shared by the very talented Kevin Belson Photography, a Wiltshire based husband and wife team of documentary wedding photographers who love to tell the story of your wedding day in a truthful, un-posed and authentic way.
Read on to hear what Kevin has to say about Laura & Nick's lovely rustic themed wedding in the heart of the Cotswolds...
Laura & Nick were married at Merriscourt. A beautiful barn venue in Oxfordshire. Set in the heart of the Cotswolds, Merriscourt is a perfect venue for a rustic themed wedding. Hosting up to 120 guests in 500 acres there is plenty of space to explore and enjoy over the course of the wedding.
I started the day in the Cotswolds Cottage with Laura and the bridesmaids. The family were having breakfast and starting to get ready. Laura's dress was hanging in the Pumproom where the newlyweds would be spending the night.
Nick and the groomsmen were at the pub when I arrived but soon they were back and practising their speeches, ready for the wedding breakfast.
Merriscourt's Stone Barn is beautifully lit with big windows at the ceremony end. Sometimes barns can be tricky to photograph as the couple tend to be back lit but that was no problem here.
Once the ceremony was over Laura and Nick took the confetti walk to celebrate with their guests.
Merriscourt has three adjoining spaces for the wedding. The Stone Barn for the ceremony, the Gallery for the drinks reception and the White Barn for the wedding breakfast. Speeches took place before the meal and Laura's Dad was gifted a cycle helmet for his speech. I can't remember why that was or the reason he's holding a pair of big pants but it was clearly hilarious.
After the wedding breakfast it was back into the Stone Barn for the band to rock the night away.
