Real Wedding: Lizzie & Chris at Kingscote Barn

Real Wedding: Lizzie & Chris at Kingscote Barn

This absolute stunner of a table plan was designed and made by the very talented Tamsin of Bespoke Signs and Stationery by Tamsin Yates

Bespoke Signs & Stationery by Tamsin Yates love working on creative, unique briefs and this real wedding was no exception. Tamsin says...

"We were asked by the couple's wedding stylist - The Little Wedding Helper - to help create a bespoke hanging seating plan using wooden embroidery hoops and clear perspex signage. Lizzie & Chris live in Sydney which meant they had to be very selective when choosing suppliers to make the process of planning a wedding a million miles away, as easy and stress free as possible. Our main point of contact was Kirsten at The Little Wedding Helper and we liaised at every stage of the project to ensure on the day everything came together perfectly.

Our main role was to source the perspex/ acrylic sheets and have them cut to size to fit perfectly inside the wooden embroidery hoops which were supplied by The Little Wedding Helper. We then used liquid chalkpens to handwrite the guest names and table names in a modern calligraphy style onto the 9 individual perspex sheets. On the morning off the wedding we assisted in the set up of this hanging seating plan. The installation took just under 3 hours from start to finish to suspend and dress against one of the gorgeous stone walls at Kingscote Barn. Once it was in position the couple's florist - Bijoux Floral Design - dressed the hoops using ferns and daffodils which were used throughout this spring wedding.

This bespoke table plan has been very popular and we've received lots of enquiries from couples all over the UK. We love the way the seating plan became a real feature at this stylish spring wedding and is visible in most of the couple's group shots."
