Real Wedding: Rachael & Peter at St. Nicholas Parish Church

This real wedding is by talented florist Fi, of Corky and Prince.Fi is passionate about all things flowers and we love how this is showsn in the beaut of a wedding. Fi says...

"Rachael had a clear vision for the look and feel of her wedding to Peter. They married in a tiny ancient church which we filled with seasonal flowers in a warm palette of peach, ivory, pink and lime green. The door to the church was flanked with milk churns filled with flowers whilst inside the church windows were decorated with flowing greenery and church candles lit to add to the atmosphere. Focal flowers included locally grown Dahlias including the spectacular 'Cafe au Lait', flowing burgundy Amaranthus, delicate Astrantia and Veronica and cheerful Germinis. The star of the show was the Rose 'Vuvuzela' with an orange centre and pink outer petals - not a colour combination that should work but it does! A more contemporary note was added with grey-green Succulents. The overall look was opulent country chic and was the perfect foil for the bride who wore a simple, elegant ivory tea dress.

It was a lovely church to decorate and once we'd lit the candles in the windows, the whole ambience was warm and fun-filled in keeping with the mood of this wonderful couple. The guests were wowed by the flowers and the church-goers enjoyed the flowers after the wedding."
