Rustic Wintery Styled Shoot at Ingleside House, Cirencester

Styled shoots are a great way for wedding professionals to come together and collaboratively put together 'a look' to give you gorgeous inspiration and ideas for a theme or style.

This gorgeous shoot has been shared with us by Capture Every Moment, a Cirencester based photography duo who had the vision to showcase a 'Winter Wedding' which doesn't focus on the typical 'wintery tones', or themes of ice and snow!

Many couples can be put off with the idea of a winter wedding as they immediately imagine the colours of red and green, or themes of snow and ice, and this really isn’t for them. We wanted to showcase a 'wintery' styled shoot that showed another spin on the ‘winter wedding’ that would appeal to those that were in search of rich tones and natural elements that would showcase winter in a far more appealing manner.

With seasonal flowers with lots of foliage, wedding gowns and accessories suitable for the colder days, and makeup and bridal hair styles that complement this styling – this styled shoot was a winner!

I couldn’t have wished for a better team of wedding professionals to collaborate with, they made this shoot a total dream and were all on board with the theme, styling and desired look.

We used two models which we created two very different bridal looks for, from the hair and makeup, to the bridal gown and florals. We used separate rooms and backdrops for each of the models shoots to share as much inspiration and styling ideas for brides seeking that ultimate winter wedding scene.

I was really keen to showcase Ingleside House in Cirencester, a stunning bespoke wedding venue that can host wedding from small and intimate to large and grand – this venue really is a hidden gem!

We dressed two of their rooms with different styling in each. Jeanette Ellis Styling took the lead with Louise of Wendy House Flowers providing the floral arrangements, and furniture from Hospitality services. Other suppliers included The Shrewton Cake Company providing the complementing cake which took pride of place in the entrance hall of Ingleside House. To finish off the look, ‘I Heart It’ provided the stationery which tied the look together beautifully.

The first featured a beautiful banquet table dressed with candles, dried fruit, concrete plate chargers (from For Keeps Bridal) and natural materials such as feathers and velvet ribbons. Foliage was a key player when it came to the floral arrangements, with touches of red and pink tones throughout.

The second room again had a heavy level of foliage, but this time its feature flowers were white. These were complemented by decorative beads, dried fruits and candles too.

It was great to have two models on this styled shoot as it gave us the ability to create two different ‘looks’. Our first model Jordon wore a beautiful Jesus Peiro wedding dress with long sleeves - perfect for a winter wedding! Jordan's long hair was styled half up featuring a plait and some gorgeous hair accessories. We wanted the Hair to be kept as natural as possible and I think Viki of Vik's Hairdressing did just that - natural but still stunning! Make Up By Carissa used soft nude and brown tones on Jordan's eyes and lips, and a touch of eyeliner to make Jordan's eye's pop!

Our second model Sophie modelled another Jesus Peiro outfit, this time a three-piece trouser suit. We were so pleased to be able to feature this outfit as it offers a fabulous alternative to a wedding dress that is still as beautiful and suitable whatever the weather. Victoria of Willoughby and Wolf (a gorgeous bespoke bridal boutique in Marlborough ) knew right from the start this was the perfect winter wedding outfit for this shoot.

Sophie's hair was styled in a classic hair up and make up was something a little different with red lip and a touch of white & grey tones on her eye which looked completely on point with the over-all look we envisaged to create.

We took photographs of the models both indoors and outside in the venues grounds, making sure to capture all of the elements that made this shoot including the bridal wear, styling, makeup and hair.

We loved creating this winter wonderland, and hope it give you lots of inspiration and excitement for how you winter wedding could look.
