I was recommended to Xenia and Danny by a previous client of mine, and after viewing my work online and liking what they'd seen, we set up an informal meeting over a cup of tea to chat about their wedding. I showed them my portfolio photo-book which they loved - so much so that they booked right up!
I offer several packages that my couples can choose from and after chatting through the different options with them, they settled on a package which included the photo-book. They had been really impressed by the portfolio photo-book that I'd shown to them, and they wanted to be able to have a book that they could look back on regularly in the future and share the memories with their daughters as they grew up.
On the day I arrived bright and early for the bridal preparation photographs with Xenia, her mother, Father and bridesmaids, who were all getting ready together. I started by taking shots of the bouquets and bridal gown before moving onto capturing the bride having her hair and makeup professionally styled.
Xenia looked absolutely stunning with her hair and makeup complete. It was now time for her to step into her dress and with the assistance of her Mum and sister, she was zipped up and her outfit complete. I took the opportunity to capture a few unforgettable moments before it was time for the Bride to step into her wedding car and make the journey to the registry office in Trowbridge.
I met Xenia at the registry office, ready to photograph all of the emotion as her Father walked her down the aisle to her waiting Groom.
With family and friends watching on, Danny and Xenia said their vows to each other and exchanged wedding rings. Once pronounced husband and wife, the newlyweds celebrated with the all important kiss!
After the service had been completed, I took the happy couple and their guests to the front of the registry office for some formal group shots.
Their wedding reception took place at Limply Stoke Hotel which overlooks the Avon valley, it really is a stunningly picturesque setting. After enjoying some prosecco and canape's, the bride, groom and I headed off into the grounds of the hotel to capture a series of posed photographs.
Whilst we were off sneaking a few precious moments for the couple to be alone, the guests were seated for the wedding breakfast and cheered joyfully as the new Mr and Mrs Turner were announced into the room!
The evening reception was soon under way. The 'first dance' was followed by a Father and daughter dance and it was lovely to be able to capture it for them. Before long, the dance floor was filled with friends and family who all enjoyed partying the night away together.
Xenia and Danny's wedding was such a wonderful day, and I am very honoured to have been a part of it. I wish them all the happiness together for their future as Mr and Mrs Turner.
