What do most people remember from weddings? Apart from the happy couples of course...! It’s got to be the food and drink!
Your wedding caterer must be reliable, professional and create delicious, top notch food of the best quality that your budget allows - do your research carefully and insist on a menu tasting session - how else will you know what their food is like?
Be creative, too: there's no rule about having a three-course sit down meal. Think about a hog roast, a BBQ or a picnic, perhaps. You could hire a fish and chip van or mobile pizza oven for the evening. And an ice cream van instead of a dessert. Why not? It's fun, different and could be less expensive than a more formal dinner.
If a bar isn't available at your venue, then you'll need to hire a mobile wedding bar. They come in all shapes and sizes to suit a range of budgets, from something pretty standard with a fridge, coolers and pumps, or perhaps a funky bar vehicle that arrives at your wedding to become a cool drinks hub?
Make sure they have the right licenses, find out their minimum spend and check their back up stock plan. You do NOT want to run out of booze at your wedding!
